Online Education for Deaf Children

To,
Well-Wishers
Orjet Foundation’s Indian Sign Language Online Education bridges the educational gap for Deaf children. Launched during the pandemic, this program continues to provide crucial support for 120 Deaf students aged 5-15 across India.

Even with schools reopening, Orjet Foundation’s program remains a valuable resource. Our consistent and accessible ISL-based education model continues to empower Deaf children, aged 5 to 15, from across India. We provide free, regular online classes conducted from Monday to Friday.

To keep this vital program running, Orjet Foundation relies on your partnership. We need to cover expenses like salaries for teaching and non-teaching staff who develop the ISL video library and manage the program. The cost per Deaf student is Rs. 2,000 per month, or Rs. 24,000 per year. To support all 120 Deaf students, we require Rs. 2,40,000 per month, translating to Rs. 28,80,000 annually.

How You Can Invest:

Individual Donors: You can make a lasting impact! Sponsor a Deaf student’s education for a year by donating Rs. 24,000 or contribute towards multiple students in multiples of the annual fee. Your donation is eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Corporates: Consider supporting us under your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Our valid 80G certificate and CSR registration number allow you to claim tax benefits while aiding these underprivileged children.

Together, let’s bridge the educational gap and unlock a brighter future for Deaf children in India!
