HAM Workshop: Accessible Communication for Hearing Parents and Deaf Children

Mr. Rajesh Ketkar, Director (Education) and Mr. Chintan Kothari, Communication Assistant from Orjet Foundation gave awareness presentation online to the audience of Hear A Million (HAM), a project from Enable India, Bangalore. They spoke about the need for accessible communication between hearing parents and their deaf children and the role sign language play in closing the communication gap and empowering deaf children in all aspects of their lives.
